ATLANTA — The Carter Center condemns the fatal shooting of two Israeli Embassy staff members in Washington, D.C. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims' families and loved ones. Political violence is unacceptable, and it fuels cycles of violence that undermine constructive dialogue and the ability to find common ground.
